As defined in the Bylaws, the Executive Board is comprised of 8 members. Upon term expiration, the offices of 2nd Vice President, Education Director, Secretary, and Communications Director are elected by the membership at the annual business meeting during the annual conference in November of each year.
Upon election and after serving one year, the 2nd Vice President (VP) assumes the office of 1st VP, the following year they assume the position of President, and upon completion of their term as President, they assume the office of Immediate Past President.

The duties of the Executive Board are:

to make recommendations regarding proposed amendments to the association bylaws;

to supervise the affairs of the association and devise measures for its growth and usefulness;

to make or confirm all appointments to fill vacancies;

to transact business in the interim between association meetings; and

to enter into professional contracts.
